Project Configuration Dialog (Advanced)
The project configuration dialog provides the ability to change a project’s description, and the read/write directories for mTAB specific files and
export files for that project.
Note:
Making directory changes in this dialog could adversly affect how mTAB reads
and writes your mTAB files. Do not make directory changes here unless you
understand the effects of doing so.
Project Description
The description of the project being created or edited.
Write Directory for mTAB Files
The output directory for files created specifically for mTAB (ie. recodes, tab
saves, etc.).
Read Directory for mTAB Files
The read directory for files created specifically for mTAB (ie. recodes, tab
saves, etc). There can be up to three read directories specified for mTAB
files. These should be delimited by semicolons. Changing the read directory can be
useful in a network environment, where you would want a directory for your own
local mTAB files, and a directory for corporate-wide mTAB files.
Write Directory for Export Files
The output directory for export files (ie. WK1 files, PRN files, etc).
Reset To Default
Choosing this button will reset any changes made to the Read/Write directories
back to the start up defaults. The default startup directory information is
located in ‘MTABWIN.INI’.
Set As Active Project
A project's paths do not become active until the Set Active Project check box
is selected.
