Saving Recodes
To Save A Recode
- From the File menu, choose Save Recode As...
The Save Recode As dialog box will be displayed.
- mTAB will automatically give the recode a unique filename. If you wish to
change this name, type in the desired filename (limited to 8 characters).
To Update an Existing Recode
If you make changes to an existing recode, and you wish to save these changes
to the same recode, do the following:
- Choose one of the following:
- From the File menu, choose Save.
- Click the
icon on the toolbar.
mTAB will display a message that the recode file has been saved.
To Create a New Recode From an Existing Recode
If you make changes to an existing recode, and you wish to save these changes
to the a new recode file, do the following:
- In order to create a new recode from an existing recode, you must first give
the recode to be created a unique Recode Description.
- From the File menu, choose Save Recode As...
- mTAB will automatically give the recode a unique filename. If you wish to
change this name, type in the desired filename (limited to 8 characters).
mTAB will display a message that the recode file has been saved.
