Subset Editor Dialog (With Filter Options)

The Subset Editor dialog provides the means to selecting individual question responses for a tab.

Question Description

The Question Description box provides the ability to change the description of a question. This description will appear in the tab worksheet.

Question Response List Box

The Question Response list box has three sections. The left section displays the list of available question responses. The two sections on the right can be used to assign high and low response weights.

Filter Options (Multikey and Group Questions Only)

When dealing with multiple response questions (Multikey questions), mTAB provides the ability to filter by different variations of the multiple responses. The following is a list of these different Multikey match options and an explanation for each option using the graphic below as an example.

Match ANY Selected Responses (Default) - Or

When this option is checked, mTAB will filter for any one of the subsetted responses. For the example below, mTAB will filter for those respondents who have checked either Going To and From Work or In Line Of Business or For Shopping, Family Errands.

Match ALL Selected Responses - And

When this option is checked, mTAB will filter for respondents who have indicated all of the subsetted responses. For the example below, mTAB will filter for those respondents who have checked both Going To and From Work and In Line Of Business and For Shopping, Family Errands.

Match ANY (n) of these Selected Responses

When this option is checked, mTAB will filter for respondents who have indicated at least n or more subsetted responses. For the example below we have indicated that mTAB needs to match at least 2 or more of the subsetted responses. mTAB would filter for respondents which have checked

Going To and From Work and In Line Of Business, or

Going To and From Work and For Shopping, Family Errands, or

In Line Of Business and For Shopping, Family Errands, or

Going To and From Work, In Line Of Business, and For Shopping, Family Errands

Match ONLY These (No Other) Selected Responses

When this option is checked, mTAB will filter exclusively for the subsetted responses. For the example below mTAB will only filter for those respondents who have indicated only Going To and From Work, or In Line Of Business, or For Shopping, Family Errands
