Filter Options (Multikey and Group Questions Only)
When dealing with multiple response questions (Multikey questions), mTAB
provides the ability to filter by different variations of the multiple responses.
The following is a list of these different Multikey match options and an
explanation for each option using the graphic below as an example.
Match ANY Selected Responses (Default) - Or
When this option is checked, mTAB will filter for any one of the subsetted
responses. For the example below, mTAB will filter for those respondents who have
checked either Going To and From Work or In Line Of Business or For Shopping, Family Errands.
Match ALL Selected Responses - And
When this option is checked, mTAB will filter for respondents who have
indicated all of the subsetted responses. For the example below, mTAB will filter for
those respondents who have checked both Going To and From Work and In Line Of Business and For Shopping, Family Errands.
Match ANY (n) of these Selected Responses
When this option is checked, mTAB will filter for respondents who have
indicated at least n or more subsetted responses. For the example below we have indicated that
mTAB needs to match at least 2 or more of the subsetted responses. mTAB would filter for respondents which have
checked
Going To and From Work and In Line Of Business, or
Going To and From Work and For Shopping, Family Errands, or
In Line Of Business and For Shopping, Family Errands, or
Going To and From Work, In Line Of Business, and For Shopping, Family Errands
Match ONLY These (No Other) Selected Responses
When this option is checked, mTAB will filter exclusively for the subsetted responses. For the example below mTAB will only filter for
those respondents who have indicated only Going To and From Work, or In Line Of Business, or For Shopping, Family Errands
