Subset Options For Multiple Responses

To Select Multiple Responses

1. Choose one of the following:
   • Click the right mouse button. From the right mouse menu, choose Select.

   • Press INSERT.

   • Press ENTER.

   • Press PLUS (+) key.

A ‘plus’ sign will appear in the check box located to the left of each question response highlighted.

To Subtract Multiple Responses

1. Choose one of the following:
   • Click the right mouse button. From the right mouse menu, choose Subtract.

   • Press BACKSPACE.

   • Press MINUS (-) key.

A ‘minus’ sign will appear in the check box located to the left of each question response highlighted.

To Unselect Subsetted / Subtracted Responses

1. Choose one of the following:
   • Click the right mouse button. From the right mouse menu, choose Unselect.

   • Press Delete.

   • Press SPACE bar.

If the highlighted response had been subset or subtracted, the ‘plus’ or ‘minus’ symbol will be removed from the check box to the left of each question response highlighted.
