Adds New Labels to the New Label list.

Statistic Weights

The Statistic Weights boxes provide information needed for mTAB to perform certain calculations such as Means and Medians. When you create a recode, it is necessary to define the upper and lower value limits of a recode definition, if applicable. For example, you may be creating a recode based upon an Age question. If you were creating a label for those respondents age 25-29 years old you would want to fill out the dialog box as follows:

Add Label At Bottom of List

When this option is checked, mTAB will place the new label you’ve created at the bottom of the New Label list. Otherwise, mTAB will insert the label at the current cursor position.

Note: If you do not create statistic weights for a recode question you will not be able to perform calculations such as Mean and Median.
